I have been meaning to try this little cafe over at Stewart Street for ages. Everytime I pass the place, I see the nice interior and there are at least a few tables of tourists sitting there having a cup of coffee.
So I finally decided to give this place (which is called Kopi Cine) a try with Melissa.
The coffee here wasn’t bad at all, I loved the foam which they’ve taken a little bit of effort to make to look like a leaf. This is a very welcome sight for me – which I sorely miss having seen some very interesting designs in Australia back in my days there.
The desserts were interesting – served very pretty, but slightly pricey at RM18 per serve.
The place is very nicely decorated and done up, I would love to have coffee again there – makes a great alternative to going to Starbucks.
Now if they only had low fat milk…

After coffee, we decided to take a short walk around and take a few pictures of the surrounding heritage area which to me is one of the best prewar blocks in Penang.
Here’s the model of the day.

I went down to Melaka to shoot with Edwin Tan – shooting as his secondary photographer for this one.
The couple was Jerson and Angeline, currently residing in Melbourne. Jerson’s family was from Melbourne and they came all the way to Melaka where Angeline is from just for this special wedding. The following pictures are just the selected photos from the church wedding.
Many thanks to Edwin for taking me along for this very fun and awesome wedding.

After a lot of consideration and thought, I have finally decided that I need a proper blog-like site to better showcase my photography work.
Especially my work on weddings.
I did quite an extensive amount of research before deciding on buying this theme which is quite expensive I must say. However, the amount of customisation and features that come with it seems to be quite worth the money.
This theme is called ProPhoto 3 and is made for WordPress blogs. I first saw this on a few photographer friends’ blogs and was wondering why they were all using this.
Now I know.
I’ve also been able to integrate my Facebook fan page and start a Feedburner RSS and email for those of you who are interested to get immediate updates as to when I post something new.
Looking forward to writing more and showcasing more work here.

I recently had an opportunity to work with AusEd to take some photos for them to stock up for their future corporate usage.
We started in the evening with Komtar as the first location of the shoot. I met the AusEd crew there and when they arrived I was pretty happy to see that they were going all out wearing their suits and looking their best. We moved on to St. Xavier’s Institution after and finally back at the AusEd office for the last part of the shoot.
